Entrance to Pluto Cave from A12 near Mt. Shasta Vista subdivision

Lake Shastina, 15-20 driving miles from our Mt. Shasta Vista Subdivision, is the closest fishing place. Pets on leashes are permitted.

adventure, so we won't show you a view looking in! Pets are allowed on trails but not in the cave.

Visit Greenhorn Park in Yreka for a glimpse into the colorful past -  -of Siskiyou County. In this case the color is "gold". Trout fishing is permitted in the reservoir which is encircled by a one mile wheelchair accessible path. Picnic grounds, playgrounds and photo opportunities galore make this a great place for the whole family to spend the day! Pets on leashes are permitted.


Castle Lake features camping, picnicking, fishing, stunning views and rugged hiking trails. 
Take I5 South to the Central Mt. Shasta exit, follow the signs past Siskiyou Lake. The drive 
takes about an hour from A12 and 97. Pets on leashes are permitted.

We have caves, mountains, rivers, lakes and lots of snow! If you like skiing, hiking, horseback riding, boating, hunting, fishing, bird watching, wildlife photography, eating or community festivals, this is the place for you!
